Before you schedule your summer vacation, make sure you allow plenty of time to prepare for the 2023-24 FISAP.

The online FISAP form isn’t available yet but should be later this summer. In the meantime, the Department of Education has posted the FISAP Form, Instructions, and Desk Reference to the Knowledge Center.

In a May 31 Electronic Announcement, the Department said the Fiscal Operations Report for 2021–22 and Application to Participate for 2023-24 (FISAP) has been approved by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). The online FISAP will be made available on the Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) website by August 1.

As outlined in the announcement, there have been several updates to the FISAP, as well as to the instructions. One of the most important updates: The due date for the FISAP has been updated to Friday, September 30, and the correction deadline has been updated to December 15.
